Within our shop, you can join our Society or re-new your membership.
You can buy Books, Indian Railway Atlas, Darjeeling Mail Binders and DVDs published by the Society or
other commissioned authors showing the locomotives and trains on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway,
climbing 7,000 feet into the North Eastern Indian mountains.
The DVDs and books give a sample of life, showing the people and views along the line.

Due to new EU customs regulations, with effect from 1st July 2026,
every item we export into the EU, a flat customs duty of €3 per item is applied,
for parcels under €150 entering the EU.
The EU describes the measure as temporary, ahead of broader EU customs reform.
We will be adding £3 to the existing individual postage rates for all goods we export to the EU, to cover the extra bureaucracy involved.
This is £3 per item, not per order !!!

(not just Master Card, as shown on initial payment page) using WorldPay for the secure transactions for
Master Card & Visa, Credit & Debit cards & Maestro Credit cards.
Due to financial restrictions imposed by PayPal this option is not available

For UK customers who do not wish to pay by Credit/Debit Card, you can write to the sales department with details of your order, listing the items required, along with Post and Packing charges and include your cheque (in UK £, no Euro or other currencies) for the total amount.

For UK buyers, smaller orders are sent by Royal Mail 2nd class or Tracked 48, large parcels are by carrier, EU orders are sent by post.
For the OVERSEAS buyer, we use International AIR Mail or for large bulky orders an air carrier.
We regret the increase of postage costs to the USA only for heavier items - these have been imposed by Royal Mail.
This applies only to a few of the heavier books and is shown at the bottom of the details for these items.
