Mussoorie is a small British-built town in the Himalayan foothills of Northwest India. Christ Church on the Mall was built in 1836, just prior to the beginning of the reign of Queen Victoria. During the Raj era, the Hill Station was much frequented by the British administrators, and today there remains a sizeable Christian presence in this still -popular station. The ladies of the Mussoorie Christian community have organised the production of this card to raise funds for the restoration of their Church. These cards represent the Church’s Nativity window, dating from 1906
