Paglajhora Landslide - report by Fuzz (Peter Jordan)  - 11th January 2012

& New pictures in February 2015

Strictly speaking, the breach was about a kilometre south of Paglajhora, and is enormous, about a kilometre long. By any definition, this was a major rockfall, The good news is that repairs have progressed and there is a firm of road surface.
Of the rebuilt road, about a quarter has been reinforced by gabions on the uphill side, with much of the loose scree above that contained under sacking.  The bad news is that the mountainside above that looks extremely unstable.
