Savouring the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway - in North Wales

The DHR is one of the world's great narrow gauge railways, running for 50 miles through some of the toughest terrain imaginable. Now a few lucky people have the chance to experience the nearest thing to the DHR without travelling to India.
Another of the world's great narrow gauge railways, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland, runs for 40 miles across the dramatic mountains of Snowdonia and is proud to be offering the chance to ride behind a genuine DHR Sharp Stewart locomotive dating back to 1889 in authentic DHR carriages.
